Meliden Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of the highly rated Zebb Edwards from Holywell Town.
Zebb joins Warren Adams' team after 3 years at Holywell town where he became instrumental to their recent success in the JD Cymru North. Zebb's previous clubs include Airbus, Prestatyn, Llandudno and most recently Holywell! Having played 36 games in the Cymru Premier and over 80 appearances in the JD Cymru North, at just 24, Zebb's experience and quality will be an integral part to the second half of our season!
We got reaction from both the manager and Zebb himself on what this signing means to MFC.
Warren Adam:

Zebb Edwards:
"Really excited to be joining Meliden, this was the right time for me personally to start a new challenge and I just want to pass on my thanks to everyone involved at Holywell for their support over the past three years. Meliden are a club on the rise and for me to play for my village team was a big factor in joining, there's a really good set of lads here, with a great management team and staff wanting the club to succeed it was a perfect fit for me to help them, I can't wait to get going."
We also want to thank Holywell for the smooth transition, Zebb will go straight in to the team for our game tomorrow at Llanfairfechan and we cannot wait to see him in Meliden colours.
