Richard Hillier-Evans is one of the Co-Managers at Meliden who also plays as a Goalkeeper, Rich prior to joining The Miners, played for the likes of Rhos United, Llysfaen, Abergele, Gronant, Rhyl Dragons, Kinmel Bay and Bow, he also has Rugby Union background, most recently playing for Rhyl & District.

He joined Meliden during their sabbatical as part of the new Management Trio alongside James Sweetman and Scott Stewart.

James Sweetman first joined Meliden as a player back in July 2016 before going on a journey of playing for Glan Conwy, Old Colwyn, Kinmel Bay, Abergele, NFA, Prestatyn Town, Rhyl Dragons, Rhuddlan Town, Llysfaen and most recently Gronant where he coached for the last few months of 2025.

He returned to Meliden during their sabbatical as part of the new Management Trio alongside Richard Hillier-Evans and Scott Stewart.

Scott Stewart first joined Meliden in September 2018 after a few years out, he played for The Miners for over 3 and a half years before a brief stint in early 2023 with Bow before returning to Meliden in August 2023, making his 2nd debut for The Miners in a 2-0 away in at Abergele.

When Meliden went on a sabbatical in Sept. 2025, Scotty took a short break from playing football and has actively helped The Miners behind the scenes, in Nov. 2025, he was announced alongside Richard Hillier-Evans and James Sweetman as part of the new Management staff.
